Sneak Preview
Look! It's a picture of my nephew in the womb. My sister is about 7 months along in her pregnancy. Can you believe this 3-D sonogram? I always heard that pregnant women were carrying a baby in their swollen bellies, but now I actually believe it.
At least we can all breathe a sigh of relief that she's not gestating an alien.
I've already been blessed with a human niece (Emilee, 9) and nephew (Brady, 5), and this is just gilding the lily. My mom asked my nephew a few months ago what he would think if the baby were a girl and you know what he said? "Nanna (my mom), ya get what ya get, and you don't throw a fit."
He is SO going to be a philosophy major.

What a beautiful image! I was present at the birth of my god son seven years ago, which truly was the most amazing experience ever. They didn't have images like these back then, but I still treasure the grey, grainy one-dimensional print-out of a weird shape that later turned into Sam.
Fantastic quote by your nephew, btw.

Isn't being an auntie the greatest? I wish I lived closer to my nephew. Being able to see photos via email helps a little.

Fabulous wisdom from the 5-year-old. We could all learn from him.

Well baby girl as much as I like sci-fi I'm kinda glad he ain't an alien myself. Your sister has a good history of having beautiful little ones so I expect nothing less and I am sure that this one will be just as perfect.

I can't believe that sonogram is so clear! I'm usually trying to guess which end is up on those things.

Hi Tracie! nice to have you visit again. I've enjoyed catching up on your blog a bit.
Amazing picture. The scan-pic I have of my daugher, she really does look like an alien.
I want and need to try some friarielli.
