The Real Primavera
This is the truth about Spring In Southern Italy. Flowers and clouds...and rain...and clouds. Oh, and cold.
Just another month, or so...The flowers will have long fallen from the trees but the clouds will give way to a sunny sky.
and fresh green beans
and fresh fava
and cherries
and peas
and prosciutto...but there's always prosciutto. I suffer a mild obsession with the swine and feel I need to mention it in every single post, almost.

It's still snowing where I'm at! If I ever get my hands on Old Man Winter, I'll defrost his ass with a blowtorch!

Well try to live through it from photos or go on vacation and escape from it all. :) We've got lots of rain and clouds here too...so you are not alone.

yes, i believe that in Italy there is no real spring at all--it's just a jump from winter straight to summer. they can't handle transition seasons :)! Anyway, her in central Italy it's the same--yesterday and today all of the sudden are really warm, but saturday was COLD still!
