Five down, one to go
Please don't be alarmed by my absence, I am simply conducting a carefully planned experiment to see just how long my last remaining reader (hi mom) can tolerate seeing the same post every day for a month.
Once upon a time in Texas, there was a girl with an appetite and a dream...

I've never been here before, but I read your blog today, because I'm not one of those blogexplosion jerks who clicks and then goes off and does laundry for 25 seconds rather than read the blog they land on!
I'm still here!

I'm usually a lurker (bad bad me!), but I miss your posts so I've come out of hiding to protest! :)

It takes more than a few days of blogging-silence to shake me off!!

"HI MOM (HMMPH)" JUST LIKE YOU GIRLS TO STICK TOGETHER. POOR OLE DAD NEVER GETS ANY CREDIT. I NEVER HAD A CHANCE AROUND MY HOUSE. SURROUNDED BY THREE GIRLS AND A NEUTERED DOG. GUESS I SHOULD BE USED TO IT BY NOW.
YOUR DEAR OLE DISAPPOINTED, LEFT OUT, FORLORN, DEPRESSED, SAD, DAD WHO LOVES YOU SO MUCH EVEN IF YOU DON'T THINK HE STILL READS YOUR BLOG. OKAY ENOUGH OF THE SELF PITY. I AM AS HAPPY AS EVERYBODY ELSE TO SEE YOU BACK IN THE BLOGSPHERE.

Hey - you are still on my blog as a "blog I visit", which is true...and I still look forward to your posts. So keep 'em coming girl!

A Texan in Belgium via Southern California is glad your back! Happy Birthday, by the way.
To your daddy, my daddy had three girls as well. He used to be upset about not having a son until he found out that Roger Staubach also had 3 girls. Anyone that grew up in Texas during the 70's and early 80's knows that Roger is the MAN. So, I guess that means you are in good company!
Anyway, stay strong because when it came to grandkids, daddy was blessed with 3 grandsons!
