You don't have a car anymore? What happened to it? I'm so out of the loop here. And, sorry for swinging by Naples without giving you a ring...do you get there often?

Hmm, given your previous post, "A Little Bit of Sacrifice", I should hope you gave away your car so you could "practice" even harder. And hey, I thought Nov-April was rainy season in ITA. It looks like early June in your picture - lucky lady.
Hey Tracie, I have a small pine tree growing in the planter in the back by the pump. Would you like for me to send it to you. I am sure that it would improve any view to have a Southeast Texas pine growing along the way. Might make it kinda homey over there. And I am sure that Southeast Texas could do without one more pine tree. You know we might get a view like that if we climbed to the top of one of our pine trees. Then again we might just see the top of a bunch more pine trees. Love ya Tra, yore Pappy
julie--i tried to comment, but i haven't been able to comment with beta since yesterday, so i'll leave it here:
ha! my first experience was with my aunt. i was little and i put my arm around her leg while she was getting ready in front of the bathroom mirror at my gmother's house. ouch. i remember her laughing at my reaction...
this is all exactly why i don't shave. waxing is so cheap here that i've become spoiled BUT, i need to wax again. my legs are hairyer (sp?) than your sister's husband's...
Does leaving your former life to live in paradise really need much explanation? I had a dream to live in Italy. After four years of teaching and almost as many summers traveling, I knew that something had to be done. I needed to cook every day with that fresh, locally-grown produce. I needed to connect with people who made their own wine and bought their whole chickens with the feet still on. I wanted to live in a culture whose inherent passion for gastronomy was not born of pretense, but of the knowledge that what is so fundamental to life should also be ENJOYED. This, for me, is the definition of "la dolce vita Italiana." While it may not always be sweet, it is always Italian.

Ha! I'd take you commute over mine (sitting in a car stuck in traffic, looking at strip malls) any day of the week.

Hey, but now you can join the not-addicted-to-oil, self-righteous folks like me!

Hey, look at the bright side, you don't have to buy gas anymore.
Wish that was my route to work, but the distance to my job would kill me.
Yeah, Tracie, what do you do for a living?
12/12/2006 7:01 AM
Hey Tracie.
I wish I could see all that beauty when I go to work.....No, really, what job do you have now, besides, um, what Gennaro "thinks" you do. haha.
